Centre of Hope Project

Construction at the CAPIO Centre of Hope has progressed well in the third quarter of 2023. There is good progress in the building of the auditorium and workshop, while the roofing of the male hostel has been completed, while we have ongoing the plastering and tiling of the male hostel.

The animal farm is equally doing well, matured fishes are preserved (smoked) for sales, the poultry farm has progressed over time; the broiler section has equally been progressive, while the layer component of the farm started with 2,000 birds, while battery cages will soon be installed. The pig farm is equally doing well and has multiplied over time.

The management and staff of the Carmelite Prisoners Interest Organization (CAPIO) appreciate Episcopal Confrenza Italliana, 8XMillet, Misean Cara and other well-meaning citizens who have in various ways supported the Centre of Hope project, we are grateful and we look forward to the Centre being fully operational in no time.
