Medical Outreach

In continuation of CAPIO’s commitment towards improved health and well-being of inmates, CAPIO in collaboration with an indigenous NGO and Corp Members from SERVICOM CDS group, conducted a medical outreach in Enugu Maximum Custodial Centre on Saturday 2nd September Subsequent medical outreached will be targeted at reaching more inmates through the support of more medical professionals in attendance, given that time is a great constraint. CAPIO Nigeria use this medium to call on CSOs and the general public to give more attention to the healthcare and wellbeing of inmates in Nigeria. The medical team attended to 200 inmates (male and female) across bouquet of healthcare packages, with drugs dispensed to address identified health challenges. The management and Staff of CAPIO Nigeria, appreciate partners and volunteers who sacrifice their time and resources, Nemel and JUHEL pharmaceuticals for some drug donations, as well as, Missionary Sisters of St. Claver who contributed financially towards the success of the outreach.
